About the Project
LuxGolf offers high-end golf travel experiences across Australia, combining elite course access with premium transport and curated itineraries. The project has evolved from an initial mobile optimisation engagement into a full ongoing development and maintenance partnership spanning five years.
The Challenge
The website had recurring performance issues, outdated course pages, nulled plugins causing form errors, and a growing spam problem. With ~95 pages across dozens of golf courses, updates needed to be managed carefully without breaking the site's complex interactive map, parallax effects, and booking forms.

Our approach
Mobile Optimisation
Resolved blurry image issues and display alignment problems on mobile, and performed full image optimisation across landing pages and about sections.
Visual & Navigation Overhaul
Updated course maps with pulsing interactive beacons, restructured navigation, resized imagery site-wide, added parallax effects, and rebuilt the Melbourne course pages with updated clubs.
Site Recovery & Security
Replaced nulled plugins with licensed versions, fixed hotspot functionality, resolved header and banner issues, and implemented Google reCAPTCHA to eliminate bot spam.
Coming Soon Pages & Routing
Built Coming Soon landing pages for Adelaide, Perth, and Cairns, then re-routed navigation buttons across approximately 95 pages to point to the new pages.
